A focused 1:1 experience using an integrative approach to chronic pain so you get noticeable results faster.

What’s so wrong is that you’re doing everything right, and you still hurt – and no one can explain why.

You may suspect there’s something emotional underneath the pain and tried psychotherapy – only to find that hours of talking about your situation didn’t actually change it.

Working Together

We’ll use an approach that gently yet effectively creates momentum and helps change the patterns in the body and the nervous system that affect how you experiences pain.

This approach combines:

  • evidence-based mind-body-energy modalities (Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT tapping) and/or acupressure),
  • instruction in practical strategies rooted in the neuroscience of change, and
  • targeted coaching/creative problem solving if needed to deal with specific real-life challenges you may have.

During this program, you will:

  • use techniques to help change patterns in your nervous system that affect pain levels so you can help keep your body in a physiological state that encourages self-healing and self-repair for longer periods of time,
  • efficiently identify and shift underlying emotional factors or limiting beliefs that may be contributing to your pain so you can target specific problem areas and get meaningful results in the shortest amount of time,
  • discover how to optimize your focus and ability to function in your daily activities,
  • be guided through processes to neutralize the emotional charge on painful memories or triggering comments so you can start enjoying the people in your life again,
  • learn strategies that help calm your nervous system so you can gain the perspective, clarity, and self-compassion needed to stop the constant battle with self-judgment.

How it works:

The Jump-Start program is designed to build momentum in changing patterns that contribute to pain in your body-mind.

This month-long container helps create conditions for a faster rate of change by preventing too much time from passing in between sessions so you consistently build upon the gains you make each time we meet.

What you get:

  • Comprehensive intake and initial assessment followed by a 30-minute strategy meeting to ensure sessions are designed to best meet your individual needs
  • 8 private sessions (90 minutes each) that take place over a 4-week period
  • Guided work on your issue using EFT tapping and other cognitive-somatic-energy modalities as appropriate
  • Option to replace one or more of your EFT sessions with a full acupressure session (can be done virtually)
  • Targeted coaching/creative problem solving for more specific issues as needed
  • Written resources to help you with effective self-tapping so you can continue to explore themes that emerge during our work together
  • 3 weekly activity prompts to promote progress in our private sessions
  • 2 recorded meditations
  • Ongoing assessment throughout the month with recommendations for follow-up work either on your own or with a practitioner

It’s important to note that there is no way to predict outcomes with this type of work. The program does not claim to be a medical treatment or cure for chronic pain.
